The quick facts
- Standard commission: The local account page advertises none.
- Standard spread: Advertised from 0.2 pips. This is a minimum, not a typical or guaranteed price.
- Platforms: Its South African pages list Exness Trade, a web terminal and MetaTrader 4/5.
- Payments: Confirm the minimum for your chosen payment method and account currency. We do not quote a universal rand minimum.
ZAR account check — 15 October 2026: Exness’s official currency list includes ZAR for Standard accounts. Confirm the options offered for your country and account before opening it: the account currency cannot be changed afterwards. A rand account and rand deposit support are separate checks. Exness minimum deposit in South Africa
There is no single verified rand minimum for every account. Exness says the first deposit depends on your account type, registered region and payment method. Check the amount displayed in the Personal Area before funding; a payment-method minimum and an account’s first-deposit minimum can differ.
Exness withdrawals: how long do they take?
Automatic processing does not mean instant arrival in your bank account. Exness explains that “instant” refers to processing without manual intervention. The chosen bank or payment service still affects receipt time. Your Personal Area displays available methods, limits, fees and estimated times.
Can I deposit and withdraw using rand?
Confirm the currencies and methods available for your South African registration. Payment currency and trading-account currency are separate choices; currency conversion can apply. Use payment accounts in your own legal name and complete the required verification.
Payment information checked 9 October 2026 against Exness’s current general help articles and South African payments page. FXJohn has not tested a deposit or withdrawal.
Which company provides your account?
The local legal footer identifies Exness ZA (Pty) Ltd, FSP 51024, as an intermediary. It states that accounts are registered with Exness (SC) Ltd, the product supplier. It describes that company’s Seychelles licence SD025 and South African ODP authorisation. Those supplier authorisations are broker-published statements pending separate register checks.
FXJohn’s FSCA FSP search on 7 October 2026 showed Exness ZA, 51024, as Authorised. That local FSP status does not by itself establish all product permissions or your account protections.
Costs beyond the spread
The fees page advertises swap-free availability but also notes that third-party payment charges may apply. Confirm eligibility and the overnight treatment of each instrument. Do not assume “no commission” means every part of funding or trading is free.
Before you deposit
- Save the agreement naming your account company and complaints route.
- Check account currency and any rand conversion charge.
- Confirm available funding methods, payment limits and withdrawal requirements.
- Compare the same instrument, size and holding period across brokers.
