Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026.

Who is responsible

FXJohn is operated by DDLP Limited, Cyprus, the controller of personal information collected through this website. Registered address: 3 Arch. Makariou III Avenue, MITSI Building, 3rd floor, Office 301, 1065 Nicosia, Cyprus. For privacy questions or requests, email askfxjohn@fxjohn.com.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the name you provide, your message and attachments. We use them to answer enquiries, investigate corrections and manage correspondence. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details or trading account credentials. The public website currently has no newsletter registration, visitor account or enquiry form. The trading-cost calculator calculates in your browser; its inputs are not submitted to us.

Technical information and purposes

Hostinger provides our website hosting and mailbox service. Serving pages and protecting these services involves technical information such as IP addresses, request times and pages, browser/device information and security events. We process correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining accurate content, and technical information on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. Applicable legal obligations may require particular records. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Aggregate website statistics

We count page views and clicks on broker buttons on the homepage and three broker profiles to understand which content leads readers to broker websites. This counter stores only daily totals by page, event type and broker on our own website. It does not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, referrer URLs or individual browsing histories, and does not use analytics cookies or local storage. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Logged-in browsing is excluded, and administrator tests are recorded separately. Daily totals older than 365 days are removed during the next website request. This counter cannot tell us who registered, deposited or became a broker client. Hosting security and access logs remain separate and may contain technical information as explained above.

Cookies and external services

Third-party analytics, advertising pixels and affiliate tracking are not currently enabled. Our first-party aggregate counter is described below. WordPress uses cookies for authorised administrator sign-in and session functions. We have removed external Google Fonts from the public page configuration; cached older pages may temporarily retain those requests while caches refresh. We will update this notice and provide appropriate choices before adding optional tracking. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Providers and international processing

Hostinger and its authorised service providers process information needed to deliver, secure and support hosting and email. We do not sell enquiry information to brokers. Our hosting account showed the website server in Frankfurt, Germany, and backups in France on the effective date. This does not mean every email or support operation takes place in the EEA. Hostinger’s data processing addendum describes subprocessors and applicable safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses for certain international transfers. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.

Retention

Our policy is to retain routine enquiry correspondence for 12 months after the enquiry closes, then review it for deletion. Information needed for an ongoing matter, a legal obligation or a dispute may be retained for as long as that purpose requires. This is a correspondence review policy, not an automatic deletion feature. Hosting and email providers maintain technical records and backup copies under their service schedules. Where a fixed period is not available, retention depends on the time needed to operate the service, diagnose failures, investigate security incidents and meet applicable obligations. A reporting window does not establish a log’s retention period. Published Hostinger website-backup schedules provide seven days for daily backups and six weeks for weekly backups; these are backup periods, not email or access-log periods.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email askfxjohn@fxjohn.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent authority, including the Information Regulator in South Africa where applicable.

Changes

We will update this notice when our services or data practices change and show the effective date above.
